Mushroom Bun Sliders

  • 1/4 cupfinely diced

  • 1 tablespoon

  • 1/2 teaspoon

  • 1/2 teaspoon

  • 12 eachsliced in half horizontally, 2-3 inches diameter

  • 6 slices

  • 3 eachsliced

  • 2 cup


  1. Preheat grill or skillet

  2. Thaw groud beef

  3. Finely dice 1/4 cup of scallions

  4. Slice 12 mushroom caps in half horizontally, about 2-3 inches diameter

  5. Slice 3 tomatoes

    Combine the beef, scallions, Worcestershire sauce, coconut aminos, garlic powder and salt in a medium-sized bowl and mix well. With mixture, make 12 small, flat patties.

    Coat grill rack lightly with cooking spray. Add beef patties, and grill covered, over medium heat until desired doneness. If cooking on stovetop, add cooking stray to nonstick skillet and cook on medium heat. Filling patty until lightly brown.

    Add sliced mushroom caps to grill rack and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side (mushroom should still be somewhat firm).

    Cut cheese slices into four pieces each. Assemble sliders until sliced mushroom caps are buns and add two pieces of cheese per slider. Serve with tomato slices and lettuce.
